How do I register my business?

Step one: Go to foodmarketmaker.com and click on the state where your business is located.

Step two: Click on "Register Your Business"

Step three: Follow the on screen instructions to input your business information.

Once you submit your information, you will automatically receive an email from MarketMaker that will include your username and temporary password. This access will allow you to make changes to your profile and keep the information up to date.

When you receive the email, log in to your account through the URL in Step 1 and change your password to one that you will remember.

Your information should appear on the website within 1 to 2 business days.

How can I get the roads to appear on the map?

Roads will appear as you zoom in to an area. The closer you zoom in, the more detailed the roads will be. This is very convenient for those who are identifying businesses and the easiest routes to get the product there.

How do I use the Buy/Sell Forum?

The buy/sell forum allows businesses to post advertisements of products and services they currently have or need. The catagories used are:

Looking to Buy
Looking to Sell
Sevices and Equipment
Transportation

Click on a catagory and view the current ads posted. Click on the desired ad to view. Within the ad, you can view the business's profile and contact the business.

Login to your account
Click on "My Buy & Sell Ads"
Click on "New Ad"

Why do some searches take longer than others?

The searches are basically queries of a large database. The more results within a parameter, the longer it will take to retrieve them. So, for example, I want a map of all the grocery stores in a specific county. The number of grocery stores in a county could be extensive. This will take an extremely long time to view. The best way to avoid this is to narrow your search. Instead of looking in the entire county area change the search by dropdown to zip code or current map.
